Pentacon Six (Kiev 60) Adapter

The Pentacon Six mount (also known as P6 mount, Kiev 60 mount or Exakta 66 mount) is a camera mount created by Carl Zeiss Jena for medium format lenses. First introduced with the Praktisix medium format camera it was later used for the Pentacon Six, the Kiev 60 and the Exakta 66 medium format cameras.
A wide range of highly affordable lenses exist for this mount. The main advantage of using these lenses on a modern digital camera is that focusing to infinity will always work (even on a Nikon F).

Pentacon Six mount to M42 adapter
Connectivity to M42 cameras is unproblematic and works great. Focusing to infinity works fine. The only major drawback is that the images are cropped compared a full frame SLR.

Connectivity to Canon EOS is unproblematic. Focusing to infinity works. Note that there also tilt-shift adapters available, which is a nice feature. I would highly recommend investing in a solid high quality adapter from Novoflex. Focusing to infinity works fine. The only major drawback is that the images are cropped on a full frame SLR. Even a 50mm or 80mm prime lens will feel like a telephoto.
