Konica AR mount lenses can be used on a digital camera using an adapter. Adapters for Konica AR mount lenses exist for Canon EOS, Samsung NX, Sony NEX, micro 4/3 (MFT) and Canon EOS M. Not all camera to lens combination allows focusing to infinity. As with all vintage lenses used on a digital camera using an adapter, focusing and aperture setting has to be set manually.

The Konica AR  mount was introduced in 1965 by Konica and was discontinued in 1988. A lot of different lenses from different manufacturers use the Konica AR mount. Konica AR mount lenses tend to be more affordable than the lenses of other more famous manufacturers.

Konica AR mount to Micro-4/3 adapter

Connectivity to micro-four-thirds (mft) is unproblematic. The adapter is always quiet large which will increase the “size” of your lens. Focusing to infinity works fine. The only major drawback is that the images are cropped compared a full frame SLR. Even a 35 or 50 prime lens will feel like a telephoto. You can find the adapters here:

Konica AR mount to Canon EOS adapter

Mounting a Konica AR lens to a Canon EOS is normally a bit problematic. It will not allow you to focus to infinity unless you use an adapter with a corrective lens. This will in turn have negative effects on image quality. Not really recommendable.

Konica AR mount to Samsung NX adapter

Connecting a Konica AR lens to a Samsung NX camera is possible. Focusing to infinity will work.. You can find the appropriate adapters here:
